Madeline Diep is a Research Scientist at the Fraunhofer Center for Experimental Software Engineering. Her research interest is in leveraging data related to the software development process and artifacts to make meaningful decisions and improvements. She holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from University of Nebraska – Lincoln.

David Maimon is an Associate Professor in the department of Criminology and Criminal Justice at the University of Maryland. He received his Ph.D. in Sociology from the Ohio State University in 2009. David’s research interests include cyber-enabled and cyber-dependent crimes and experimental research methods.
Lucas Layman is a Research Scientist at the Fraunhofer Center for Experimental Software Engineering. He studies software, people, and how people use software to solve problems. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from North Carolina State University.

Andrew S. Fukuda is an upcoming 4th year undergraduate student at the University of Maryland majoring in Criminology & Criminal Justice with a minor in Global Terrorism. He with the research aspect of the project and manages the recruitment team. He has previous experience as a peer mentor for the FIRE Program at the University of Maryland. This is his first project geared toward cybersecurity and protection against online threats.

Tayler N. Schmidt is a third-year undergraduate Criminology and Criminal Justice student at the University of Maryland, College Park. She leads the participant recruitment efforts and manages the recruitment team. This is her second project aimed to help the population better protect themselves from online threats.
Stefan Hintzen is a computer science student from the Mannheim University of Applied Sciences in Germany and developer of the MADCAP web application. He is writing his bachelor’s thesis at the Fraunhofer Center for Experimental Software Engineering.
